AUDA-NEPAD has hosted a media parley, calling on journalists and media professionals to partner in reshaping Africa’s narrative and promoting the Agency’s developmental strides under the African Union’s Agenda 2063.

The new National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi emphasized the media’s pivotal role in showcasing AUDA-NEPAD’s achievements “The media has the power to amplify the successes, progress, and impact of AUDA-NEPAD’s initiatives. By doing so, we can collectively change the narrative of Africa as a continent of challenges to one of resilience, innovation, and limitless possibilities.” he stated.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment from media professionals to partner with AUDA-NEPAD in championing Africa’s development journey. It was agreed that the collaboration between AUDA-NEPAD and the media would not only deepen public understanding of the Agency’s mandates but also catalyse meaningful change across the country and the continent.
